Kaaaameeeeehhaaaameeeeehaaaaa! There we go. That’s another Late to the Party review done. Rinse and repeat surely? I’ve obviously been a little excited for this with the beta winning against Dissidia and the various ways to deal with the cravings. So was it worth the wait? Short answer, yes. Who doesn’t love Euro Truck Simulator? I know that’s not the subject of this review but bear with me there is a point. This one has been on the radar for a while, quirky indie looking game with murder and interesting plot. Lets see if this really was Game of the Year 2017 material or if it’s best off staying in last year with all the other horrors. What better way to start the reviews for 2018! I’ve been avoiding this review. Thinking about anything other than this. Seriously unprofessional I know but I’ve hated thinking about this game. Ding Dong Ping Pong. Welcome to a murder spree! Danganronpa was a revelation for me. I’d gotten tired with visual novel games being terrible dating sims wrapped in a text and image bundle, then along came Danganronpa on the PSP to show that they could be a twisted unique murder mystery and my world has never been the same since. Escapism and videogames is nothing new, we all have bad days and find solace playing a few rounds of Street Fighter or Snake on the phone. The Sims has always been a series that hasn’t appealed enough to play for more than a few hours and wonder why it demands the time investment it requires to get anything done.
