Games to play on National Pet Day

Who doesn’t love pets? At one time or another I’ve had dogs, a cat, fish, hamsters and now our house has two lovely rabbits (or little buggers depending on what kind of mood they’re in). It’s another ‘national’ day that only seems to exist to promote something cheesy but hey why not go with the flow and celebrate having pets! What better way to do that then to look at some of the best pets in video games? Dogmeat – Fallout (all of them) Dogmeat is such a charming dog in all the Fallout games. If he’s not an important … Continue reading Games to play on National Pet Day

PUBG Edition (Player Unknown Battleground Goose Edition)

Who’d have thought it? HouseHouse kindly sent me an early build of Untitled Goose Game (which by the way looks amazing) and would you believe it? It came with a complete cross over game with PUBG! It turns out annoying the gardener was simply a tutorial for the main game, a ruthless 100 player arena survival game for the most badass goose. Obviously the geese can’t hold guns so to attack other goose the player must press a number of  buttons in quick succession to honk the loudest. This startles the opponent and sends them flying out of the arena. The … Continue reading PUBG Edition (Player Unknown Battleground Goose Edition)

Games to play instead of reviewing Metal Gear Survive

Disclaimer – A review for Metal Gear Survive is in the works but it’s such hard going when you previously enjoyed Metal Gear Solid titles that I thought I’d pop a few thoughts out there for you to read. If your curious why I’m taking this stance check out my Beta experience opinion. Warioware Quick thinking, fast reactions and able to analyse and react to any situation, that’s what you need in Metal Gear but it’s also the same for WarioWare. There’s a new Wario Ware game in the works! We’re all hopeful it’s better than Mario Party: The Top … Continue reading Games to play instead of reviewing Metal Gear Survive

Games that would be improved by adding Attack on Titan

The Attack on Titan anime is amazing, I think we can all agree that’s the case. It continued to win awards years after the first season released and the second season (although technically more like the 4th) has proven that the series has legs to carry its shambling disfigured strange manga through into the limelight enough to make 2 live action movies and even an anime film covering the events of the season. There have been a few licensed AOT games and they very in quality from the absolute trash 3Ds Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains to the phenomenal … Continue reading Games that would be improved by adding Attack on Titan

A list of PSVita games still worth playing because yes it’s that time of year.

It’s that time of year again! Time to dig out old consoles, classic previous games and hope to find those little gems that you just didn’t originally get around to. With the Vita still selling for around £80-90 second hand and the PlayStationTv for £50 (which can play most Vita titles) it’s still a great time to get into the system! I’m sure you’ll spot a few titles missing from this list but these are just ones I can personally wholeheartedly recommend from experience. Yes I also know the originally exclusive Gravity Rush is missing but I’d recommend you play the … Continue reading A list of PSVita games still worth playing because yes it’s that time of year.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp – iOS

Why am I writing this now? There are currently no events, no special reasons to go back in and play this free to play time-sink. Well being sick limits your interactions to video games and a simple mindless mobile game can be just what the doctor ordered. Is this the case with ACPC? Or is it just another terrible freemium money grabber? I’ve owned every Animal Crossing video game, There I said it. I’ve even bought consoles such as the 3Ds literally just to play the next iteration of the series. It’s criminal it never showed up on the WiiU … Continue reading Animal Crossing Pocket Camp – iOS

50 Shades SUCKS – So play The Sexy Brutale on Steam instead… Prize Draw

Snazy title I know! So it’s that time of year again, where being single sucks. Everywhere you go you see couples like some kind of strange apocalypse scenario where only people who are paired survive and that’s why they’re so smug. On the flip side, being single is awesome for many reasons that you can see on any other day because you as an individual are special and you don’t need another to complete you. Well this applies to you, I mean I found myself the perfect wife so I suppose I’m ok if the apocalypse comes. Still anyways I’ve … Continue reading 50 Shades SUCKS – So play The Sexy Brutale on Steam instead… Prize Draw

How to deal with Dragonball FighterZ cravings

So after playing the Dragon ball FighterZ beta you’re left needing more? It’s slightly better than Dissidia Final Fantasy NT (as you can see here) but you’ve no access to play it, what now? How do you wait until Friday 26th January? I’ve personally watched all 291 episodes of DragonballZ (not all the films mind but some of them) dubbed. I’ve watched a few episodes subbed and a few GT but that’s a lot of KAMEHAMAHA. I’ve also played the games since the obscure japanese snes fighters, gba rpgs, the truely terrible PS1/Saturn games, all of the Budokai Gamecube and PS2 … Continue reading How to deal with Dragonball FighterZ cravings

The Sexy Brutale – PS4

This one has been on the radar for a while, quirky indie looking game with murder and interesting plot. Lets see if this really was Game of the Year 2017 material or if it’s best off staying in last year with all the other horrors. What better way to start the reviews for 2018! As soon as you start up the game it’s off to a great start and personally sets the tone for the entire game. The title screen music is so good I’ve sat and listened for a good few minutes and the brilliantly crafted artwork just sells … Continue reading The Sexy Brutale – PS4

Classic mini remakes that would be amazing

So the SNES mini classic has become a darling for me. Seems a few of you managed to get one for Christmas to and found the joy the little box can bring. It’s a little something that you can fire up for a few mins of retro gaming that’s just absolutely brilliant. The NES classic is a thing of course, as is the Spectrums Vega and with rumours of a Gameboy classic on its way here’s some others that need making. Now Great Pocket Colours – “Still as good as a Gameboy Color” A New Neo Geo Pocket Color for … Continue reading Classic mini remakes that would be amazing
