So he’s finally retired from public appearances. Can’t really blame him, who wants to appear in public anyways? He’s now free to cash in some of that royal money and play some games but what’s he best off doing? We’ll have I got some games for him.
Assassins Creed Syndicate
Did you know Philip helped develop the equestrian event of carriage driving? I didn’t but apparently that’s the case. So what better game to enjoy racing around in carriages, crushing commoners beneath the wheels and racing around London. Shame the story is about the common man but I’m sure there’s dlc to play as a Templar for him to live the dream.
Now this maybe a little too much for an old man to play you’d think, but old Phil has seen a fair few years of service across all aspects of Britains military and a game where you play as a journalist trapped in a horror has a twisted appeal. He could just pretend your controlling Piers and continually get him horribly murdered. For fun obviously.
Here’s a titbit for you. The inhabitants of some villages on the island of Tanna, Vanuatu worship Prince Philip as a god; the islanders possess portraits of the Duke and hold feasts on his birthday. What better way to experience that again as a true God?
Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series
Quite topical given he is in the line of succession to the thrones of the 16 Commonwealth realms. So essentially if he learns from this series on how to climb the chain he could one day rule from a throne of swords (more likely to be Tesco trolleys).
